Radio Mirchi launched its FM service a few weeks back in Blore.. Mirchi is really successful in chennai esp the acclaimed tagline 'Semma Hot Machi' .... Guess whats it for Blore.. a poor literal translation of the same.. "Sakkath Hot Magaa" ..eeks !
Hey, why say poor literal translation.....the tagline in Kannada is equally hot in kannada terms..though it looks like verbatim reproduction...this is the best possible tagline with the same meaning as in tamil.....leave that alone, why on earth does Mirchi not play tamil songs when they can play kannada and Hindi songs..???? whay say????
Sujay: Why NOT...? When it can play Hindi Songs in Karnataka why not Tamil Songs....???? I am saying this coz...Mirchi has a Tamil background....I never cribbed Radio City didnt play tamil...!!!!
@Rajesh : Mirchi belongs to 'Times' group and doesnt have a tamil base. Tho I wud love to hear Tamil songs on Mirchi, I find no reason y they shud play it...
