Volvo for BMTC
Published by Sujay on Wednesday, January 18, 2006 at 3:50 PMKarnataka's KSRTC bus service is one of the better inter-state transport I have seen.. from normal 'budget' deluxe buses to volvo buses, they have it all..
Now BMTC, Blore's local bus transport service competing with KSRTC has added volvo AC buses to its fleet, with initial service operating from Majestic to Electronic city and another one from Majestic to ITPL, targeting the IT population of the city. The buses look amzing, I wasnt able to get pics from the net, else wud have posted it here. They charge u abt 30 bucks from Majestic to E-city.

IMHO TN state transport bus services are better when it comes to interstate transportation. What makes it better? Private players dude..How many times u preferred the City 3 or S-2 over the others (OK nee antha time ku thaan eluntirupe)...

KSRTC (airbuses,volvo) anyday better than TNSTC buses.. Private transports are always better da, no govt buses can beat KPN's fleet !

All I can tell u this. KPN ( or for that matter any Priv busses in India) is better than GreyHound. Greyhound has an attached bathroom in the bus tho ( Toilet trained busses :p )
TSTC inter-state buses can never beat KSRTC.. ! Excellent buses. !
BTW, don't you think it is too much to compare Greyhound with KSRTC/TSTC.. Konjam too much da.. ;-)

Moreover its been a long time i travelled the KSRTC busses Last time I happened to go in one was the Maroon coloured one...
Most importantly, Chennai to Bangalore after missing the Shatabdi Express.. ;-)
